Breast Augmentation is performed under general anesthesia in both our Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Lancaster offices. The recovery time is between 7 to 10 days. Post operative discomfort lasts a few days and is minimized with prescribed pain medication. Suture removal is not required since suturing is under the skin. A tight fitting sport bra should be worn and later switched to a support bra after a few weeks. For the first 6 weeks, patients should refrain from heavy lifting and upper body exercises.
